Etienne played university varsity basketball at UVic and Memorial University and then played one year professionally in Europe. He has transferred his work ethic, competitiveness and drive on the court into his work as a personal injury lawyer and his involvement in the community. In his work Etienne solely represents injured people since being called to the bar in 2010 and works for the firm McComb Witten Marcoux. He advanced from being Chair of the New Lawyers Committee of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC (“TLABC”) to being elected as a member of the Executive of the entire TLABC, consisting of over 1400 members, keeping him involved and at the leading edge of advancements in his field. Within his community Etienne promotes sport and healthy life choices as a former Director with the Hooplaw Society and currently serves as Vice President of the Board.
