Jade Christie

Jade grew up in Vancouver and was a standout basketball player, leading her high school, York House, to their first provincial championship. She played for Team BC at the U17 and U19 level, which cumulated in a gold medal at the 2001 Canada Games. Jade went on to play NCAA Division 1 basketball for St. Bonaventure University, member of the Atlantic 10 conference. There she graduated Magna Cum Laude at the top of her class with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree. Jade brought her passion for basketball back to Canada where she coached teenagers and children through club programs and the Steve Nash Youth Basketball program. Professionally, she is an experienced, full spectrum HR Generalist with experience in a variety of industries and environments (union and non-union alike). A firm believer in the power of youth sports and the impact they can have on children, Jade brings her energy and drive to the Night Hoops program where she currently serves as the Secretary of the Board. She is a People & Culture Manager with lululemon athletica and resides in Vancouver with her husband and two daughters.
